Originally hailing from Southwest Queensland and born into a racing family, Clinton Taylor kicked off his career as a jockey, riding his first winner in 1999 at the age of 15 years - ‘Caitlyn Girl’ at Goondiwindi. Clinton went on to ride 113 winners in his relatively short riding career, marking himself as a very talented horseman. After a hiatus from racing for over a decade, Clinton was once again bitten by the racing bug in 2018, embarking on a training career with his partner Erin, who herself is a very accomplished horsewoman. Erin has worked for some of Australia’s premier racing stables, including the John O’Shea yard when they were at the peak of their powers.
